Yasmina and Maud, our dual qualified lawyers (England & Wales + Spain and England & Wales + France) are attending PEOPIL’s annual conference in Malaga these 14-16 October.
PEOPIL: Pan European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers, is a not-for-profit organisation to improve and promote judicial co-operation and mutual knowledge of legal and judicial systems of European jurisdictions in the field of personal injury law.
After almost two years of cancelled conferences, we are delighted that this year’s conference is taking place in person in Malaga, with over 100 participants from Spain, France, UK, Romania, Poland, Netherlands, Denmark, the US, Austria, Germany, Greece, Italy, Belgium, Ireland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden and Portugal.
The main theme of the conference is: PERSONAL INJURY – FUTURE CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES and includes talks about recent ECJ and national courts’ decisions having an impact on cross-border personal injury litigation at European level, some Brexit (still uncertain) consequences in this area, as well as potential challenges caused by COVID 19 vaccination.
Muchas Gracis to PEOPIL, the COLEGIO DE ABOGADOS DE MALAGA and the kind sponsors of the conference!
