Expertise and experience

Yasmina is dual qualified as a lawyer in Spain and the UK with a decade of experience in travel litigation, personal injury compensation and financial recovery claims.

She acts for claimants and defendants in equal numbers regarding claims arising from accidents abroad and at various levels of complexity.

She deals with claims for British holidaymakers injured abroad under the Package Travel Regulations, or if the Regulations do not apply, under the applicable foreign law, such as: Spanish, French, German, Italian, Romanian, Polish or Greek laws, with the assistance of local lawyers.

Yasmina also represents Spanish and French nationals who are victims of accidents in the UK, for instance road traffic accidents including pedestrians hit by a car and claims against employers or the public administration.

In her defendant practice, she acts for Spanish and French insurers defending claims brought in the UK courts, involving complex issues of applicable law, liability and quantum of damages.

Being Spanish, Yasmina understands the ethos and approach of Spanish insurers and individuals, and she responds to their needs in an efficient manner. She has particular expertise in handling claims under Spanish law and makes quantum assessments under the Spanish Baremo.
