Lucille is an experienced legal assistant in the field of civil litigation, with particular expertise in road traffic accidents, debt recovery and other civil disputes.
She has worked at Pierre Thomas since 2011 and, as well as assisting senior solicitors with their caseloads, handles her own caseload acting for victims, defendants and their insurers. She is bilingual and has particular expertise in cross border litigation in England and France.
Lucille assists on highly complex cases including brain injury cases, fatalities and multiple jurisdiction cases. She also deals with low-value traffic accidents in the UK through the MOJ portal on behalf of foreign victims.
Lucille has considerable experience in children injury claims, where settlement has to be approved by the court.
She also deals with enforcement of French judgments in England.
Within the English jurisdiction, Lucille has dealt with cases involving the laws of France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland.
Lucille has a good understanding of the law and its practical aspects. She has a “can-do” attitude when it comes to difficult cases and is well known for her strong problem-solving and investigative skills. A client once gave her a Sherlock Holmes cap at the conclusion of the case for her excellent detective work.
